TetraScience Partners with Consolidated Sterilizer Systems to Bring IoT to R&D Labs

Today, I am proud to announce our partnership with Consolidated Sterilizer Systems. Together, we are leveraging Internet-of-Things (IoT) and cloud-based software to create a radically new digital experience for users of autoclaves.

We are fortunate to have worked so closely with Arthur Trapotsis and his team at Consteril. As a company, they possess the ambition and resolve to revolutionize the autoclave industry. From energy-efficiency to connectivity, Consteril has been bringing much-needed innovation to a historically staid industry. A mainstay of laboratories everywhere, autoclaves perform an important role in ensuring sterility for scientific and laboratory processes.

Custom-built for the lab manager and scientist

The culmination of our partnership is the launch of a cloud-based application that enables lab managers and scientists to monitor, receive alerts, and record digital logs of their sterilizer data. The app, accessible through the TetraScience dashboard, provides an easy-to-use, beautifully designed software interface that enables managers to have better visibility and to record effortlessly autoclave-specific operational data.

These features were built with the lab manager and scientist in mind. Given the growth in modern R&D labs, the quantity, variety, and responsibility for equipment has greatly increased in complexity. As a consequence, teams are constantly looking for ways to improve operational efficiency.

All told, the TetraScience platform enabled them to deliver a market-leading product at 90% less cost than other approaches in just four months.
